History

Breakfast at the Grange Hall

The breakfast at the Grange Hall raises money for scholarships for graduating Crescent High School Seniors. These folks get up early to prepare the food.

People from the community as well as visitors enjoy the delicious breakfast, scheduled from 7 am till 11 am.

The Beard and Mustache Contest

The judges are in place waiting to view the contestants and make their decisions. Some of the judges have been contest participants in the past. Participants in the contest come from the community as well as from far and wide.

This man was the overall winner of this years contest. Many like to dress in costumes to compliment the style of their facial hair.

The overall award is often a carved wooden statue such as the one shown.

Games for Kids

The students from the Interact Club at Crescent High School organized games for kids. The balloon toss was popular with all ages.

Entertainers

Entertainment runs throughout the day. Groups like Luck of the Draw, a popular local band, perform foot-stomping fun music. Dave Secord acts as emcee and keeps the audience involved and entertained.

The Mountain Cloggers inspired us all with their fancy footwork.
